The answer to this question may be that they want to break their ties with the questions or problems about the oil they produced 5 years ago. Although the term 5 years shelf life is used, the expiry date is not used on motor oils in general. According to commercial laws, this information must be included in all products with an expiration date. This information also tells us that engine oils do not have a shelf life and can always be used when stored without being exposed to extreme temperatures.

In general, engine oils do not have an expiration date. The reason for this is that engine oils are not from the product group that deteriorates by stagnation. The date information on engine oils is the date the oil enters the production line. Some manufacturers specify the shelf life of motor oils as 5 years and write this on the labels on the package.
