General Information:
Somafix RTV Silicone is a one-component, acid-curing silicone sealant used for general purpose insulation in high temperature applications up to 350°C. Cures at room temperature with the humidity of the air to give it permanently flexible silicone properties. Does not sag. It is flexible at low (-40°C) and high temperatures (+350°C). It can be applied with a gun at low (+5°C) and high (+40°C) temperatures. The surface cures quickly. It provides good handling properties with the tool. It maintains its flexibility at continuous temperatures up to 350°C.






Scope of application:
It is used in the insulation of joints exposed to 350°C for a long time, and in the insulation of joints and expansion joints exposed to high temperatures. It is suitable for industrial applications. Excellent adhesion to glass, vitrified surfaces, ceramic tiles, some plastics and most paints.
Usage:
The surfaces to be applied must be dry and clean, free from dust, dirt and oil. Cut off the tip of the cartridge and insert it into the gun. Apply the silicone on the surface as a strip. Clean the contaminated silicone with soapy water.
Security:
Keep away from children. Avoid contact with eyes. Prolonged inhalation may damage the respiratory system. Store in a cool and dry place.
Shelf life:
It is 18 months. Production date is on the product.
